Not just for Arnold, this press + rotation is great for your shoulders!
The Arnold Press is an overhead press, but it adds the rotation of your arms, to begin facing you, and end in a standard overhead press position with palms facing out.
To do the Arnold press:
- stand tall with your abs and glutes engaged
- begin by holding the dumbbells just in front of your shoulders, palms facing you
- press straight overhead until elbows are straight with palms facing forward
- stop before weights clank each other
- return to start position
