Arnold press 12-31-2024 One Exercise a Day by Kathryn Alexander

Not just for Arnold, this press + rotation is great for your shoulders! 

The Arnold Press is an overhead press, but it adds the rotation of your arms, to begin facing you, and end in a standard overhead press position with palms facing out. 

To do the Arnold press:

  • stand tall with your abs and glutes engaged
  • begin by holding the dumbbells just in front of your shoulders, palms facing you
  • press straight overhead until elbows are straight with palms facing forward
  • stop before weights clank each other
  • return to start position
