We’re going to get athletic today!
The ability to hop and generate power is a great one to have. It can help you feel springy, and fresh, and keep you safe if you lose your footing.
Pretend there is a 6 in stream in front of you. You’ve got to hop it.
No falling is the only rule!
- If you can, aim to take off of two legs and land on 2 legs.
- Dip quickly into a quarter squat position, with arms behind you.
- Throw your arms forward as you straighten your legs and begin your hop.
- Land, and immediately bend your knees and hips to soften the landing.
- Hop it back and forth 10 times.
** If you are unsure about your balance or don’t feel safe about this one, then just step. No falling allowed!
