Pushups: one of the classics!
Pushups are a staple exercise for good reason. They are great for your upper body, chest, arms, abs and core.
You can do these from your feet, or if this is too challenging, do these from your knees.
Either way you do them, the goal is to be a straight line from your shoulders to your touch point on the ground (feet or knees).
Position your hands a bit wider than shoulder width, and under your chest, NOT your face. When your hands are set up under your face, you’re really making it hard on yourself!
- Squeeze your glutes, legs and abs!
- Reach with your chest not your chin!
- Don’t let your hips sag or pike!
