Supermans! An equipment free core movement. Get your superhero on!
Your exercise of the day is the superman! This works your core, and especially lower back.
- Roll out your yoga mat, and lay face down on it.
- From here, extend arms and legs forward.
- Raise your upper body off the ground slightly, but still look toward the ground (as opposed to looking straight ahead toward a wall in front of you).
- Raise your left leg and right arm, and then extend back down.
- Alternate, raising your right leg and left arm.
Aim for 10 each side.
You might start to feel your low back and that’s ok! Remember your low back has muscles that you are aiming to work, so it’s natural to feel them.
